The Three Stripeshave brought an all-new look and feelto the adidas 11pro, with a fresh update to ring in 2015 in.

A heavy emphasis on comfort, fit and protection epitomise the feature-set of the third-generationadidas 11pro, with a new construction style and material choice also helping improve touch and feel on the ball.

After toying with Taurus and Calf leather for the last couple of generations, this adidas 11pro is once again packing a K-Leather upper – something we’re sure will please many fans of the series since it’s start to life as the adiPure.

The leather upper is draped over a new support skeleton that is slightly visible through the upper of the boot, creating an intriguing new visual for the 11pro.

Operating in just the heel and forefoot of the boot, this new structure is designed to lock in these crucial areas of the foot to enhance comfort and improve break-in.

This new style of construction has allowed adidas to remove all the stitching in the forefoot of the 11pro(Though we did love the last model’s quilted vamp), giving the boot a purer, seamless contact on the ball.

The new adidas 11pro is launching in a classic Black / White / Flash Orange; a black leather upper and white stripes providing a heritage look, with the addition of a stripe running the length of these football boots adding a modern touch.

So, with a K-Leather upper, central lacing system and a black-and-white launch colourway, it seems despite nixing the ‘adiPure’ from the name, there’s certainly still plenty of that series’ core design values in the DNA of the new adidas 11pro.

Elsewhere on the new 11pro, adidas have retained the ComfortFrame soleplate of the last generation.

Designed to use the additional appendagesattached to the studs to distribute pressure, adidas say this improves comfort on just about any surface and greatly reduces unwanted hot-spots on the sole of the foot created by the studs.

The studs on the adidas 11pro have also been trimmed down a little for a more comfortable ride and greater ground penetration.

On pitch this weekend and on sale December 1st, what do you think of the new adidas 11pro? Is it the adidas heritage-style boot that fans have been waiting for?
